Watkins Field (Gardner High School) – Gardner, MA

The Watkins field first opened in 1977, and after over 40 years they are renovating the entire facility. The condition of the old field had become a safety concern for the Gardner School. They are placing a new synthetic turf field which will be safer, and it can be used more often as it does not damage as grass does. The field will be lined for soccer, football, and field hockey and it could be an opportunity to generate more revenue by hosting tournaments.
